This tapestry is inspired by an original from a 15th Century series that is on display in the Cluny Museum in Paris.

It is part of six original tapestries from the Lady with Unicorn Series. The tapestry depicts the sense of sight with a graceful lady attended by a unicorn, a symbol of purity.
